Trailing arm bushing question

1. What's the part number of the trailing arm bushing?
2. How much did you pay for that? One dealer here said they had only the whole trailling arm? the other ask for 60 but not in stock.
3. Somebody mentioned that I need a shop to put that bushing in, I am wondering if I can do it myself, with a 3 jaw puller? What kind of shop can do that for me? Mr. Tire?

I believed part(s) is a dealer item and you should be able to install em yourself... you'll need air compressor, air hammer and various chisels and if you dont have all neccessary tools just have your nearby machine shop take care of it. hope this help

make sure it's not the upper rear control arm first before jumping to the bushing. Check that the ball joint up there has no slop.

The lower control arm bushing (the one almost directly behind the rear jacking point) is Acura part #52384-SD4-Z04 ....it costs about $30. From my experience, it is worth having a local "machine shop" (the kind of place that does industrial bearing and machine work) remove the old bushing, and press in the new one.

And yes, Greylegend is correct: check to make sure the problem is not the upper control arm. In my experience, a bad upper control are will squeak when you bounce the back end of the car up and down ...a bad lower control arm bushing will make a lower-pitched groaning noise. As well, a bad upper control arm will usually cause tire wear. A good way to check where the noise is coming from is the "stethoscope" method: simply use a broom hand (remove the broom) by putting one end against the suspected noise source, and pressing the other end tightly to your ear. Then, have someone rock the car up and down to cause the squeak. You'll hear it plainly enough.

Thanks for all replies. I just took rear wheel off and visual check ball joints and control arm. They look fine. The boots do not leak. Then I sit on the rear seat and try to get up and down, now I can clearly tell the noise is from right below the rear seat, where the trailing arm bushing locates. Dealers around here want 40 to 60 a piece for the bushing. I am going to leave it alone for a while coz I just notice the driver side cv axle makes noise and seems I am going to replace it soon. Sigh.
