1990LS Automatic
Does my car alone do this?? you know how you drive and the Automatic Tranny shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd to 4th? Well, mine seems to have trouble finding out what gear it wants to be in, it acts as if it wants to shift from second to third, but doesnt know how, whats that call? and is there a simple solution?
I hope I explained it ok, I did the 3 tranny fluid change thing about 4 months ago, and this started about a week ago. It's like it shifts find sometimes and sometimes it doesnt know if it should or not. 1990 LS

Acutually, he wants info about the tranny- it is like his tranny is trying to "race" through the gears or something.
I'm not sure if there is an easy solution. Well, you could always replace the tranny.

Sounds like your shift solenoids are blocked. You could have this checked out or try the search function for similar problems.
