I'm new to this forum and i've seen some really badass legends that you guys own. It gives me a new appreciation for this vehicle.

Anyways I'm looking into purchasing a cold air intake for my legend.
I'd like to know what pipe sizing to use and filter sizing if I should plan to buy the pipe and filter seperate.

and if at all possible can you guys post up pics of your intake setups??

oh and also my hood dampers are worn out so, do you know where I can go purchase some new ones..for cheap ??

for the intake, i would sugest a 3inch pipe. usually all the tubes are 3".

and for the dampers if you mean the things that hold up your hood, i got some from advanced auto parts, i think they were about $20/piece. when i get home from work ill post a pic of how i rigged up a intake filter temperarely until i get the new whole intake.

EDIT: if you wanted to stay as cheap as possible, get a good filter online (i.e. weapon R or K&N) and buy the cheap tube from autozone, as someone told me, a 3" tube is a 3" tube, the metal doesnt mean anything only the filter

You can get a short ram intake and filter on ebay pretty cheaply. I got one with a K&N filter for around $50 I think...it's been a while.

Hey, I also live in the dallas area. Glad to have you as part of the fourm. We have alot of fourm members show up at local meets here and would love for you to come out sometime. You can learn alot from them.
As for the CAI, I agree with blackend. Get on ebay and buy a ram intake( there' pretty much all the same) with a good filter then get a "3 90 degree bent pipe and a "3 coupler.
