how high has anyone brought thier rpms past redline?...TYPE I G2 AUTO only please...just wondering cause my buddy says he brought it up to 7000 before...

type I should be no more than 6100.
If he is doing this from a standing stop, he has got a bad tranny (syncro's)

I am referring to a 0-40 at WOT and no shift to 2nd
