Anyone recommend any good mechanics in close vicinity to Berkeley in the Bay Area California. Car won't start up so i'll need AAA to tow it for me. Closer the better.

NEVER go to All Tune and Lube on El Camino in Sunnyvale. They fscked me over once on installing my Eibachs/Konis. Should have taken a few hours, and at 5PM on a Saturday before a long weekend, they called me and said they hadn't even started yet when they promised it would be done that day. I told them I would be there in an hour, and it had better be put back into original condition when I got there.

i have my mechanic in daly city. he is the best, the only couple of certified NSX mechanics in USA. if you want to tow it to daly city, i will give you his number and address. i know it's far, but he is the best. He even drives a Legend. his price is not that bad too.

btw, i have problems with my starter 1.5 yrs ago. check the battery first, then cable that connect the battery to the starter motor. then alternator. starter motor on legend rarely goes bad.

btw, i live closeby Berkeley. if you want, i can try to check it up. i won't guarantee can fix it, but at least i can contribute something that i know about starter...

can i get your mechanic's info gameson? Daly city is fine me if you say they are NSX qualified.
If you could get the info to me as soon as possible, that would be great. sooner the better !

I will forward the information tomorrow. his business card is in my car. btw, i actually got the mechanic information from another fellow Legend-ers here in forum (couple of years back in old forums legend.org)

if you are lucky, when u got there, sometimes there are couple of legend modified who get serviced there. i was lucky to see an 19 inch wheel on G1 coupe and a white L coupe 6 speed heavily modified. once i saw a red 91 NSX got a brake service.
