I just bought a bunch of car detailing stuff ($100 worth). One of the things I bought is the Mothers Clay Bar. I have heard good things about the clay bars, but I have never used one before. It is just as easy as the box makes it seem, just spay the lube (detailer-whatever it is) and run the clay bar over the paint? The box also came with cleaner wax that is made by mothers. I also bought mothers carnuba wax. What order-clay bar-cleaner wax-carnuba or cleaner wax before the clay bar?

PS: Yes I know there are other threads concerning detailing, but none of them addressed the use of the clay bar specifically.

Thanks:)

1. Wash
2. Clay with quick spray
3. Paint cleaner, if needed
4. Wax

Clay is very easy, just keep the paint moist and avoid circular motions. Don't worry if you get clay streaks, the paint cleaner will easier remove.
