I have a 1991 Legend that has bad valve guide seals. I am experienced with replacing the seals on Honda 4's, but I have never even seen a Legend engine with it's valve covers off. On the Honda 4 cyl, you can access the valve guide seals by removing the valve cover, rocker arm assy and valve springs. It is not an easy job, but at least on these cars you do not need to remove the cams. Do the cams need to be removed on the Legend?? Can I just remove the rocker assembly and valve springs to get at the guides?? Should I just pull the heads and have them redone? Should I just put a type II engine in? A local junkyard has a type II for $900.......I think I should just pull the heads, anyone with experience let me know!!!
