Hi everyone. I have a 90 L Sedan with 150,00 miles and rebuilt tranny at 135K. My question is if i should keep my Legend for a while and make her really nice. Like all repairs, a few mods, engine and body, and maybe even suspension? The problem is:
-Someone keyed my car twice on the left side rear door, and it looks like sh*t! Does anyone know how much it is to repair? I mean, it's really deep.
-My front bumper is messed up, and just other little things (missing front passenge-side corner lense)
I already have ram air intake and wheels, and tires, but i thought about: exhaust, springs, struts, body kit, new paint, new interior, and some custom engine work? What do yall think? Also, my car is an AUTO!!!!!!
Thank you for yur help!

My vote is to keep it. 150,000 miles is nothing. Take a look at some other modded Legends to make up your mind. TALRUDEBOY posted a G1 gallery in the gallery section. The keying part is considered vandalism, and should be covered by your insurance. If you plan on modding, you might want to do a body kit and get rid of your front bimper altogether.

I would guess that fixing a scratch like that would cost around $600-$800, assuming the shop did a nice job of blending and matched your paint's orange peel well. It could be a tad more even. They usually have to paint a better portion of the side of the car to match the paint (especially if you have a light blue). The corner lens should be like $30 at a junk yard. Don't know about the bumper cover, though.

Paint job

If You can, Repaint the whole car. G1 are rusting and if you fix that Keyed part chances are you gonna have to repaint the car anyway. So.. I would repaint

Like Vince siad I have a Car gallery so you can look at Pictures of legends I gathered over the years. This is a way for people to get ideas!!

well i know exactly how you feel,my advise is to keep the car because the only problem with the legend is in the tranny and you took care of that as far as the body looks take it to MAACO i took few car there before for paint and they did a good job it only cost $200 but if you decided to take it there dont say any thing about the scratches just tell them you want the special that they have and they would fix everything for you for the same price
