We tryed for 2 days to put a JDM H22 engine in a 94 civic hatch and we finally did it! We took it up to the strip tonight and boom a 13.7!!!! this is a stock H22 also. I was soo happy we got it in and running great. This motor had close to 0 miles on it so we are waiting a while to put the Turbo or NOS on then who knows that it will run. Just though i would share this stor i was so happy. See ya

yep we took it up to commerce and everyone knows that is a slow track. The civic is a daily driver thats why we are havign trouble deciding what to put on it a turbo or NOS. A tubo would make that car really hard to drive on the street it would be way to fast. But NOS is a very very good possibility. We put it in at my friends garage that is pretty much a nice shop. The engine is pumping out 210hp and all he has is a little intake filter. The car is good on the street and alot faster on the street. The 5-75mph time is like 4 seconds it seems. It does understeer pretty bad but if u saw the engine in there you would understand b/c the engine is huge in there. I believe the speed was at like 102mph or soemthing i dono i was jumping when i saw a 13.7 pop up. ALL MOTOR 4-CYL! ha

What mounts did you guys use? Place Racing? Also, how hard was the wiring harness to get right? (I hate doing those!)... but also, did you all upgrade the clutch/flywheel, etc...? I can assure you, that will be a fun car once your friend goes through the bolt-on process and adds another power adder!

How did you find this near 0 mile engine?

That's almost impossible unless some doofus got rear ended in a new car test drive.

it come from a shop here in ATL called JDM specialist or something. They have TONS of engines and yes alot of legend engines to. They compression check every cyl. in front of you and u can look all you want at the engine befor you but it they are great people. I will get pics up sometime. They outside isnt to impressive yet but i will still get pics of the engine.
