While driving doing any speed above 20 if i let off the gas and let her coast she makes a slight humming noise and it feels as if something is restricting the car. Could it be my exhaust setup? The whole thing is original from the headers back. I have an intake and the rest stock ( engine wise ) 95 L sedan. thank you the noise is coming from the engine, its not the wheels or axles, or tires its coming from the engine. thanx

This is probably going to be hard to diagnose without acutally hearing the sound. I had a humming noise that sounded like it was coming from the engine when I would accelerate. I thought it was the engine, but after I replaced the axles, the sound was gone. I dont know if this is your problem though.

I have the same problem. When I'm driving through the city (under 30) and I let off the gas, I hear a hum (somewhere between a hum and a low-pitched whine) coming from the undercarriage. It sounds like a noise that a differential/transmission would make.

Yes that is what i hear, only when i let off the gas though. Anybody, Somebody? Ima have the diff fluid changed and the tranny flushed and ill let you know if that does anything. What you guys think about synthetic fluid in the diff?
