Sounds like a bad ignition switch, the contacts in the switch are probabaly burnt, sometimes you can remove it & clean them, sometimes you need new switch. It's easy to remove, you don't have to remove the lock part, the switch seperates from the lock. This is a common problem with older Hondas & Acuras.
