So im going to be pulling the trans on my new coupe and i was wondering if you guys had any sugestion for a clutch. Right now on my sedan when i hit second gear at high rpms when racing its like the clutch is slipping so id like a strong than stock pressure plate as this will be my track/street race car and it needs to be able to take a beating

So i need sugs on a long-lasting clutch and strong pressure plate! THANKS

Try a Center Force Dual Friction Clutch. I have one and I have no complaints. Peace and Blessings. Bigs out.

How many miles have you put on it? Any slipping when popping the clutch/racing? cost? How many have you gone through?
This is my second one. The first one I had some problems neither me nor Center Force could figure out. When I called them and told them what I was experiencing they told me to send them the pressure plat and disc and they would look into it. They were true to there word but couldn't find what caused my problem. After all was said and done they sent me a new one free of charge. I installed it myself and 8,000 plus miles later it is still going strong. As far as racing, the clutch pulls wonderfully and it gives my car a re-newd vigor. I believe it will hold up to 300 horses. I plan on finding out if thats true or not after I rebuild my engine and than add a turbo. Peace and Blessings. Bigs out.
shop before you buy, I found the clutch I will be using for my twin turbo project from nippon power, there web site is nipponpower.com, for the money you can't beat them and they are cheaper and can handle alot more power than center force!
South Bend clutches are pretty strong, they make a DXD Series clutch which is a six puck for the Legend. :2cool: South Bend Clutches
