93 Coupe What do you thinks its worth--Pic inside

Well I have put my car up for sale after 8 years of owning it. Right now its my commuter car for work but I have 3 other cars at the moment and I dont plan on selling those. The acura is a 93' L with 188K on the odometer. I have had any real problems with it except for 2 coil packs going bad which i replaced wtih new ones and the normal stuff as far as oil changes and transmission fluid changes as well as belts. I'm not really sure what to ask for it dealers here told me between 4500 - 5300 it was i should expect to get but I think the guys on here are the experts. It is an automatic with leather. The clear coat is peeling onthe hood and trunk lid which i think was normal for cars of that year range from Honda and Acura.
What do you guys think

More Pics--Hope this gives you what you want to see

Interesting since they are going for 5000 here with 160k and above. I know wholesale book value will be low as is for any vehicle. But due to the following of these cars I am sure its worth more than 1500. I have a 67 mustang whose book value is less than 3000 according to any local insurance company but the appraisal value on it is slightly over 26k and it is in very good shape to be nearly 40 years old. Thanks for your opinion though, I'm sure others feel the same way. Hoping I can squeeze a little more than 1500 out of it.

OH MyBabyLegend--Thanks for the input also. I was think about the same thing as far as that range.

$3500 - $4500 (if no dents or rust and everything works) Main things for this are the seats and the paint that need work. The mileage isn't that bad, but some people are scared of that. These engines will last 300k + with good maintenance. I have 250k on my coupe and it runs great.

Maybe so, but you asked what we thought it was worth...and that's what I know its worth here.

To be honest, where I am...you'd be pushing shit up hit with a rake trying to get $1500...chances are with over 180,000 miles it will be basically unsellable.

You are a stupid idiot if you think that that two door is going to go for $1500NZ. We paid $2150AU for our G2 with 212k Miles on the clock. The paint is peeling on the roof and the leather is hard. This coupe should fetch about $4000 AU or maybe a bit less. (Just over $3000 US)

Pervert you obviously have no idea what these cars are worth or the price for Legends in New Zealand is the cheapest in the world.

$1500 max, probably not even that with over 180,000 miles.

$3500-$4500.

I sold my '93 LS Sedan for $3900 with 196k on it. The leather was pure garbage and it smoked a little. I think if you put it up for $3,500 obo it would be gone next week. Or put it up for $4,500 and hold out for a bit.

Thanks guys for the info and backing me on the value. Yea I believe he may not know the value difference of the dollar but I definitely wont be shipping it to New Z for that amount. I dont think the selling of the car would cover shipping. Maybe someone on here is from NC and will take a look at it or hopefully I'll get some calls or emails since i have the For Sale signs in it now. A couple of people have asked but they want to make payments to me and I cant fall for that.

Again thanks alot guys.

I think the moderators should put a big flashing bar under your name that says "FROM NEW ZEALAND, (THE LAND OF FREE CARS) AND FULL OF SHIT"

You only seem to post when these what-it-is-worth threads come up. Yes, we know Legends and other Japanese cars are worth less than a blowjob in New Zealand. But big deal, youre the only one there. So stop trolling.

i THOUGHT that was an Aggie umbrella...is it?! where in Gboro are you? too bad i came back home i woulda been able to give you an inperson appraisal...im not keen on most stuff but a Legend i think i can give a good value.

also that looks like the firestone on market st. up the road from University Square and UNCG. is it?

anyhoo...from the look of the pics it looks like you could fetch something like 4500 down in G-boro. and highpoint. the one thing that would hurt its value is the seats. offering seat covers with it might bring it up a BIT.

EDIT:

yea, arnach is good people.

Trying searching www.trademe.co.nz then.

You got to remember we get much better cars that Australia when it comes to imports, so they go for a lot less.

Then maybe you might want to refer to yourself as a stupid idiot. :giggle:

This amuses me so much, I can't wait to get banned so I can sign up again and start the fun allllllllllll over again...you guys are such whinging bitches...hahahaha...
