I usuually tell them I'm not in that much of a need to sell it. I dont owe anything on it so no need in me taking a cahnce at a great loss. But i can understand if they want to own a legend and just cant swing that much money at once but still go to the bank or hit your 401K

 

tell them to visit a bank ! Thay have LOTS of money !

 

Yea--Its amazing the SOB stories you get. Baby on the way, gotta have a car to get to work, everything. Its a good car so I cant give it away I think the price is resonable due to condiditon and it serves me fine as a daily driver.

I've had that happen to me. Was selling my Corolla and got a call from someone wanting me to drive to their home to show it to them. They actually sounded serious but I declined since I pretty much had a commitment already. Otherwise I probably would have done it.

Sounds more like they were looking for a Taxi service, Would have asked you to let them test drive it to the store and then decide to think about it. Call you back next week to go the same store again etc. . . .

Thanks Alperovich. I believe I'm going to put the Chrome wheels back on it in the picture to hopefull get a few more dollars for it and get some more attention from prospective buyers while driving.
