I've got been out of car audio for a couple of years, but now with my new legend im thinkin of hookin up a nice system.

I want a conservative setup with sound quality the highest priority. Ive got the bose 80w system already in it, and an OLD SCHOOL punch 60x. Im thinkin a single sealed 12. I dont want somthin to rattle the sh!t out of my car, just somthin to give me that low end that it needs.

im thinkin either polk or infinity kapa, but thats because i liked em 5 years ago. whadda u guys think/recommend?

I have heard the Infinitys and they sounds pretty good. Very nice and accurate bass. Thought this was in a show room type environment. Also liked the Alpine Type R series and almost any of the JL Audio are pretty good. How much do you have to spend?

go with a 12in kicker comp or 10in solobaric....i used to have 2 12in kicker comps which was decently loud so i guess if you half that (1sub) that would be what your lookin for

how many watts is your amp? i dont think he has enough power to push the w6v2, not good to under power a sub and it would be a waste to put so much money on a sub if you dont give it enough power

the shiva is my personal favorite for the under $125 sub (www.adireaudio.com)....Insane loud in the right box and oh so accurate for sound quality. I am getting ready to install one in my car (as soon as I get to it...)It does need a good sized box though, about 1.25-1.5 sealed....

for the under $60 subs, check the pioneer 305's from ikesound ($55 shipped). I have installed 5 of them in different cars and for the price, they are incredible. You get a great amount of low end. put them in a 1.2 sealed box and fool people into thinking you spent a fortune on your setup....

With subs, or audio components in general, 90% install, 10% components that makes the difference between a good system and a bad system....
