do people in japan color match the hoods and trunks on their cars? and install amber turn signals? and then brag about usdm parts? haha

all you idiots who paint your hoods black and put clear corners and sunroof visors are idiots... at least for being so proud of it... it's like all the jackasses who have an s10 with spraypainted red steel rims and paint the truck flat black and call it a rat rod.

also... one more grief... why do you all post the same answer to a thread?
someone asks why the tranny is slipping in his 5 spd. and 30 people say he needs a clutch... it's bad enough when someone says the agree with the person above the, but to put te same link to another diy, and ll say the same thing WTFFFF...

You need to calm the hell down, bro.

First off, some people are into JDM styling. So feel free to bash them for it, but just realise you're an idiot for doing so. It's their car and their own personal taste. You're not a fan of it for some reason, but it really just breaks down to what someone thinks looks best.

Second, if you had a question and got an answer from one person you'd still be unsure. When you get the same supporting feedback to your question from multiple people, it tends to be more reliable.

So, in the words of Eyedea, "You just got clowned on, sit your ass down."

hit up one of the members who are in japan. ask him about CALI style jdm, i've heard that its a pretty common thing for guys over there to build their cars to look like california's version of jdm.

it's funny you mention it... because a few days ago i had a few questions... and it took days for someone to remotely try to give an answer... but my hate mail got replies in seconds.

well unique can be harder to pull off in a clean way, rather than time tested true techniques and ideas.

i mean i've seen some rather unique civics around here, definately one of a kind, but that usually means it looks really stupid

Feel free to restate your questions, I'd gladly try to answer them.
Hatemail always generates a response.

its not making them look like FAKE jdm, its taking styling cues from other places, everyone wants to build their car a certain way, and has certain tastes, but it is also an extremely limited market for our cars. so the first things to pop up are the cheap mods.

i just noticed his post count, that means that he's been on the forum long enough to ask the same question in a few threads, then post this up and start some arguements. haha

Oh yeah btw...consider my previous posts and this one your only verbal warning...cool it dude...people here are pretty nice...

If there is a question you need an answer to, search and you just may find you answer or several possible solutions (maybe even repeated several times in the same thread!)...if not, then start a new thread rather than bumping an ancient one....

Theres really no reason for any of this, and if I could do it in this section, this thread would be long gone....

what's the big deal though?

and you know, i'm not as stupid as i sound (going back and forth like this)... i did seach the forums for the issues i was having... but the replies i got were essentially the same thing that had been said. and/or common sense.

#26 ·
No one's calling or implying that youre stupid man...and the suggestions you received would have most likely been the same suggestions had you started a new thread....when a common problem comes up, we immediately go to the common solution...if that doesnt work (when the OP Replies back) then we take it from there....

Relax....dont do it.....

#27 ·
Alright, well it may be common sense... but have you tried the graphite lube I suggested?

Sam O Nela is pretty spot-on.
Someone comes here with a problem. We answer it as best we can from past knowledge. If that's not the solution, then you need to reply back and let us know what's up so we can continue to help you.

This is like therapy.

#29 ·
now you got him talkin about lube,, great i wonder where this will go now.

this thread is lame, lets go hang out somewhere else.

Isn't there a minimum age to use this forum? There should be......

Dude, everyone here welcomed me with open arms, as they did you, before you started this stupid thread. I can see from your previous posts that everyone replied trying to help. Just because you didn't get the answer that you wanted doesn't mean you should act like a whiny you-know-what.

AGREED ymisoqt! As I was reading this thread, I was thinking...how old is this guy? I'm VERY new here (but not to forums), and this is typical of either a 12 year old who just figured out the internet or a troll. So far this forum seems great. People are nice and helpful from what I can tell. try going to twinturbo.net (see other car) and saying anything like this, you'd be insulted and banned for life before you could take another breath.

GREAT! All this emo bashing is making me feel self-conscious (sp?). FYI, Emo is my fraternity pledge-name from when I was in college. I'm in no way emo and it's more sarcastic than anything...I'm happy.

I see this thread is getting better and better. lol. Why is it always the new people that starts the bash??

because they think that just because they have a Legend, that makes them, well, a Legend. when in fact it takes time and effort. and when you do finally become one, you have a 12 second yellow submarine :nutkick:
