simple question for everyone.

What do you like most about our legends?

I would have to say other than the rev happy engine, smooth ride, and beautiful styling. thet thing i like most is the interiors G1 and G2, just because they pay so much attention to detail, and so much luxury.

i love how no matter how long i have been driving.. i have never been uncomfortable.

always comfortable, smoothest ride, great handling, just enough power to feed your craves, great luxury features ahead of the times. the g1 also looks similiar to the cars of the time... but that much better.

wow i am in love.

I like that it's paid for and any money I spend on it is voluntary.
Seldom does anything go bad wrong with it and it doesn't leave me on the road (saving that one time when the alternator went out and the battery failed. If I had recognized it, I could've made it home or to a shop).

Oh, and that it's every bit as good a car as any new one.

Legend Love!!!!!!!!!

What I love most about my legend is that after 13 years young it still gets gawked at by people with newer cars. Not to mention with some love they can run forever and if you have that need for speed even without performance modifications done to them they will answer the call and leave a smile on your face every time. One more thing I love about my legend. Every time I come to this forum, I find people just like myself who have a love and respect for a car the automotive world along with most of the aftermarket world has all but forgetten. To all you legend owners out there. Keep'em running and they'll keep running. to the legend. Peace and Blessings. Bigs out.:2cool:

I've had the car for close to twelve years now and it's now part of me. The car grows on you the longer you have it. There's nothing to "hate" about the car. It's always gotten me where I want to go and I arrived there comfortably and with style.

After working to "bring it back up to snuff" this year, I have to say the car is actually very service friendly for a V6 compared to newer cars. If they made more performance parts for it, there wouldn't be enough of them today.

Hope my next car is as "nice" all around.

for going on 15 years i would have to say the handling and comfort of the interior is like riding in a cloud. i go to school in miami, girlfriend in orlando, and family in jacksonville FLORIDA. ive driven several times up and down the whole east coast of florida, and even twice to pensacola from jacksonville, which is the whole northern part of the state into another time zone and back. right now i have 210k miles on it and my Legend still runs strong and handles better than most of the cars out there for its age.

I love the way my car handles. A flick of the steering wheel and I've made a quick lane change. I've actually avoided three accidents that probably would have totaled my car because of its handling. That plus the manual transmission. I'm surprised that I haven't gotten more than the one speeding ticket I've gotten in this car.

As a kid I always loved my Grandma's legend. Nice shiny gold exterior with tan leather and a sunroof. It was something about the way the leather smelled and how comfortable it was. How the HVAC controls were very simple yet sophisticated with a numerical thermostat and an auto temperature feature. The heated seats, the power rear windows (still can wow my friends with those). It wasn't until I grew up and got to drive the legend that I felt its power and beautiful ride.
It took years of begging to convince my grandma to sell it to me and she finally did when she bought her new car. She had it in Vancouver for the past 6 years or so and only put on around 3,000km's a year. Its been a while since the car has seen snow, but its still the car I always loved to drive in.

I have no problems in my G2 backseat. It makes for some intimate positions. Seating positions, I mean.

Oh yeah, one more thing, the Legend is near invisible to cops if you have OEM wheels.
I made a left turn in front of a CHP officer and he ticketed me for having tinted side windows. Reading the vehicle code carefully, tinted window is okay, but the catch is that you can't have an applied -film- on the window.

Here's the funny part:

The car has had tinted windows since it was a few weeks old. The car was registered in Washington state since new and prior to my ownership. The tint was installed at a shop in California!

What I like about my Legend? It isn't worn out yet.
