Wheel Bearing?????

Ok, here's the deal you guys.... My car is making a wierd noise when I turn to the right. Almost like a creaking noise, but also sometimes a clanking noise. At the same time though it's like womp womp womp, kinda in a low tone. Sorry it's hard to describe. Also sometimes I'll just be driving along and I'll hit a bump on the right side of my car and it will kinda make the same clanking noise. Now at first I thought that it was my CV Joint, so I just had my axles on both right and left replaced, at the same time that I got my new Konis and Eibachs installed.

Now my next idea is that it could be a wheel bearing??? I'm just guessing hear, but hoping that someobody might be able to make a more educated guess than me. Any ideas????

Thanks you guys.

right side outer tie rod end------if there's enough play in the wheels left to right motion you will hear the wobble wobble noise it makes as the frequency picks up, and the clunk as you turn to the right (popping it out of its hole....just enough)

Yes, dangerous, I suggest you get it looked at right away, or do that experiment I told you about

Wow, that completely makes sense now!!! Thanks Leon, I'm going to take it into Autobody on monday and get it up on a lift.

I'm gonna go to NAPA tomorrow, buy the part, and try to install it on like Wednesday.
I had a similar problem as you Aaron so I changed the tie rods, axles, cv joints and the problem went bye bye.

Hmmm, isn't the CV Joint part of the Axle, so since I already replaced that, I shouldn't have to then replace the CV Joint, right? Also, did you do the install yourself, and if so, how hard was the tie rod to put in?

SH1T! It doesn't look like it's the tie rod end. The wheel didn't have any abnormal movement. Any other ideas you guys?

I'm starting to get worried.
