Hello -
I have a twofold problem. My ABS light has come on a few times, and a local mechanic gave me a reading from the computer that it was the left wheel speed sensor.
I also have a problem that my torque converter will not stay locked up. Meaning, it will disengage, and my rpms will jump about 200-300 while cruising down the highway.
Could these problems be related? Does the torque converter lock in as a result of the computer telling it it's at the correct speed? My theory is that if I replace the sensor, my torque converter may again stay locked up as it is supposed too at higher speeds...
ANY THOUGHTS????? THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING KNOWLEGE ON THIS FORUM.
