I'm wondering where the Legend clutch should catch. Mine catches pretty high, and I kinda like it that way, but I was just talking to someone who said that a high catching clutch may be a sign of clutch wear, and that a new/healthy clutch should catch pretty low.

Can anyone fill in the blanks for me?

Mine is pretty high too, and it is possible that the clucth is kinda thin already, and need replacement. My clutch has been there for 151k miles, so I'm not surprised.

Yep, that's the way it is from the first time I got my car at 63k, until now. Maybe it's the way legend clutch is, but who knows.

Mine catches higher than a well adjusted cable clutch, but it catches anywhere from the middle to just above that. I have 85K miles. I guess that is the nature of the hydrolic clutch.

I had my clutch replaced a few months ago at 150k. Before I had
it replaced it was catching very high, now it's a little past middle.

Mine catches pretty low (93 coupe), but my dad's catches pretty high compared to mine (95 Coupe). My car has 103k mi. My dad's has about 54k mi.

What are other signs of a bad clutch?
