Forget about the Phillips BlueVision and any local autoparts store, I've seen them and I don't like them.
I just need something that will last a good while!

Get the Sylvania Silverstars.... I put some in my Dad's Excursion and they look great. Brighter than regular halogen bulbs too, cause they don't have a funky coating.

80 watt

Don't put in any 80w bulbs unless you are willing to melt your harness and replace it. Legends just can't take the 80w...

I have Phillips BlueVision High Beams in my low beam light, they are definately good enough for me... they are 65w instead of 55w I believe... they are safe in our cars...

Buy name brand like PIAA or OptiBlue from Autodynamic.com skip the junk on ebay. Both are excellent. Both are blue/white. Only the PIAA low beam is available in 55W. OptiBlue at 100W will require the auxilliary wiring harness.

Before you do either you should read this.

I decided that the blue/white looked great in the low beam. I left the standard bulbs in the high beam. The blue/white seems to pick up white reflectors or signs better and the standard provide better overall visibility.
