My radiator (93 Legend LS) is in dare need of replacement since it is leaking. OEM radiators are expensinve and I have heard many negative reviews about them. I wanted to know if anyone has had there readiator replaced an aftermarket one and with what kind. The are two types, ones made of copper/brass and ones made with aluminum. Most reviews I read said that the aluminum radiators where better since they weighed less and therefore could be built with more metal surface. But copper/brass is a better conductor of heat and I think they are cheaper but weigh a lot.

Anyone know what the replacement radiators on e-bay are made of?
What are the OEM radiators made of? Copper/Brass or Aluminum?

Believe it or not, the OEM's are a hard plastic. Mine blew a few years ago, I got an aluminum radiator that's been not trouble at all since.

I ordered mine off e-bay. Just search using key words "acura legend radiator". I got it for 164.99 that is with tax and shipping. They are made of aluminum and plastic just like the OEM.
If you are looking for copper/brass radiator go to this site: www.moradco.com/AcuraLegend.htm

If you want the OEM Equivalent go to
www.radiators.com and search for the acura legend radiator in the "order-online-here" link.
