My friend had the same problem in his 1991 maxima. I opened the master switch and found out that the copper contacts which complete the circuit when in contact were so oxided ( just like the battery leads on the battery) due to sparking over a long period of time. This oxide created a insulating layer that prevented the circuit from being completed when the buttons were depressed. I just scrapped the contacts to expose the bare metal again and lubed them then re-assebled the master switch and the windows started working just fine.Acurate420 said:my passenger window will roll down but wont roll up. i have to use the passenger side switch to roll it up...im not sure what the problem is but it sucks.
Sound like your passenger relay swith is broke, if you can roll it up with the driver side.Acurate420 said:my passenger window will roll down but wont roll up. i have to use the passenger side switch to roll it up...im not sure what the problem is but it sucks.
I would pop it open and see if it is the swith or if its oxidied (is that a word) It does'nt sound like the motor. Can you use the driver side to roll it up or down. I priced the motor for my old G1 and dang, 750 bucks uninstalled. But, doesn't sound like the motor to me. Maybe a wire popped off.CODY690 said:The passenger window wont roll down.
