Wrong pully size on alternator?

I have been having starting problems over the past few weeks (87 Coupe L), and I think it is due to a faulty alternator. The alternator has failed once before, and there is a manufactured dealer installed in its place.

I was looking around the web and found this article:

1986-1889 Acura Legends with the 2.5L and 2.7L engine may experience a low state of battery charge and a high rate of alternator replacement. This occurs most often in vehicles driven on short trips or in slow-moving traffic. Heavy use of electrical accessories (lights, wipers, A/C, heater, rear window defroster, stereos, etc.) contributes further to this condition. The problem is that at low engine speeds, the alternator turns too slowly to generate enough current to meet the demand on the electrical system. In most cases, the battery is able to supply the difference, but in doing so, its state of charge is lowered. If the vehicle is never driven at highway speeds, the battery will gradually be drained until it is unable to start the car. If the vehicle does get driven at highways speeds, the alternator will turn fast enough to generate its full rated output, and will power all of the accessories as well as recharge the battery. However alternators are not designed to work at full output for any length of time. If the accessory demand remains heavy, and if the state of battery charge is low, the alternator may be required to maintain full output continuously. The heat and stress of continuous operation at maximum output dramatically shortens the service life of an alternator and inevitably leads to premature failure. To prevent this problem, Acura offers a kit (Acura part number 06310-PL2-004) consisting of a smaller diameter alternator pulley and a shorted drive belt. Installation of the kit increases alternator speed over the entire range of engine speeds. This improves alternator output at idle, allowing it to better keep up with demand and spend less time at its maximum

I commute maybe once every three days 2 miles, with the occasional once a month 100 miles trip.

Does anyone really know about the new dimensions of this pulley kit? I searched for the kit, but couldn't really find anything. I am getting the alternator tested today, and if damaged, then have it rebuilt.

I had the battery tested and it seems to be fine, and I am drawing ~13mA when the car is off which is nothing (cars for our year is acceptable up to 30mA). The grounds to the car look pretty bad, so I will be changing those out today as well.

Any insight on this would greatly be appreciated

UPDATE 1: Alright well I found the new part number for the pulley. The new part number is effective as of the 89 years (31141-PL2-004) and the diameter must be 59mm. I am not sure what the old diameter was its got to be larger then that.

I will see what the alternator test shows later today

UPDATE 2: The new belt number is (31110-PH7-013), not sure on what year it starts with, but I would assume 89 as well.
