The yellow high beams are actually integrated fog lights, and in fact not high beams. I don't believe that they sell 9005 ion yellow bulbs, but you can convert a 9006 to fit in a 9005. By doing that, you will in fact have yellow high beams because of the optics in the headlights. You won't be able to drive it around like that without having your lights shine at on-coming traffic.

The only other way to achieve the same look as the Vigor is to get JDM one-piece headlights that have integrated fog lights like that.
Do those JDM's have high and low beams as well as the yellow integrated fogs? Or do you loose the high beams?

i believe the JDM headlights have a dual filament H4H bulb for low/high beams, and another bulb for the integrated fogs, so u don't lose your high beams :)
wow, what a coincidence. today i was experimenting with my wiring and i wired the 9005 USDM high beam into the jdm foglight area. the result? the yellow is not as bright as high beam. it looks just like a normal yellow foglight. buying the golden yellow 9005 bulbs could achieve the effect of yellow high beams.

I never found a way to hook my jdm one pieces with both h4h high/low beam, so I got 9006 HID's and I'm using the USDM high beam in place of my jdm foglights.

EuroLights sells those Ion Yellow Bulbs. The last time I e-mailed them, which was sometime last year, they had the 9005s and 9006s available in Ion Yellow dubbed Yellow SuperBright.

They also sell 'Blue/White', 'High Intensity White', 'Blue/Gold SuperBright', 'Clear/Plus', 'SealedBeamConversions', and 'Xenon-Charged™' lamps.
So you guys are saying that the yellow color comes from more than just the yellow bulb? Is there a yellow reflector in there? Because the way i want to wire my JDMs is to just use the 9005 USDM bulb in the JDM fog area. Will there still be a yellow tint with this set up??
yes there is a yellow reflector in jdm one piecer fog light slot.

peace

actually they do make one for the hi beam. I purchased a set last year and installed them in my hi's with no modifying. I'll post a pic later. It looks nice at night. With only my driving light on the glare from the yellow buld shines and it appears to be on. Looks kinda sweet;)

Yes, there's a yellow diffuser in the foglight area, but it can be taken out. Why do you want to wire a 9005 bulb in there? The fog light section produces a fog light beam pattern which is a more wide spread pattern that's pointed down on the road, it beam won't even shoot past the low beams. Just by putting a 9005 high beam bulb in there, you're not going to get a high beam light from them.
CakeDaddy,

Do u have any pics of the 9005 High Beam bulbs at night? THANKS!!!
