Talking springs installation

hello
before anyone says go search it, i did my best. i couldnt find anything. My friend got me Eibachs for my birthday, and i was wondering if anyone ever installed their springs? How would you rate it from 1-10 10 being hard, i know how to change my oil and spark plugs and lil minor stuff, just wondering if its difficult? any special tools needed? Thank you

Your friend got you springs for your b-day!?

Damn! I need to find friends like that!

Changing springs is alot more in-depth and difficult than an oil change or spark plug change. Only additional special tool you require on top of the standard socket sets and torque wrench is a spring compressor, like 92L coupe mentioned, you can rent or if you live in Canada, can go to Canadian Tire and borrow it for free.

Do you have a service manual? Following the manual makes the job quite easy. Not to much to remove from teh suspension.
