Sorta new to A-L.com

Whats up A-L.com! My name is Ivan and I'm 19 years old. I now offically own a '92 LS legend. I say offically because I only used to borrow it all the time . I bought it off my older brother and he has had this legend for about 5 years or so. It currently has 128,xxx miles. Runs Awesome! I've already had inner and outer boots replaced and doing outer tie rods with alignment today. It also looks like it needs a new brake master cylinder because When stopped in a red light the brake pedal goes in deep after a while. Anyways, my brother has another legend, a '90 legend gold with only 56k miles. and he has had that for about 4 1/2 years ago and since those 4 years he has only put in 2k miles on it. He actually bought it off an elderly lady who only took that car to the food market and back home. And the reason she got rid of it is because she was buying a volvo xc70 because she needed a bigger car to fit a wheel chair which she now had. (4 years ago and I work at a volvo dealership now). But that car has not been driven a long time because older brother went back to my country for 2 1/2 years and when he came back we took the car for detailing and now the car is flawless. Looks brand new. Front and back interior. I will take pictures of both cars when I get home. And not I go back to work.

You are right. Mine did the same thing and that is what fixed it.

Hey Ivan, Welcome to the Acura Legend and Acura Rl community. Nice to see you here. Make sure to post some pics soon. Oh yes, the brake problem. I had that same problem with my '91. Just got it fixed a couple weeks ago actually... Still not perfect though. My Legend was in an accident about 10 years ago and the brakes and a/c haven't been working great since... Oh well Anyways, good luck with your legend and welcome

thanks guys! yea, I tried flushing the brakes but it didnt work that well. (needed one anyways) and i went to an acura dealership (i know an advisor there because he used to work with me at volvo) and said thats probably it because he had a few legends come in for the same problem. So my mechanic checked it out and agreed that it was the master cylinder. so master cylinder next week for me!

x3 . I had the same issue with the brake foot pedal on my 93 L sedan 4 years ago and that's exactly what the problem was. Except my ABS brake light also came on but went away after replacing the master cylinder and a brake job. Welcome and lets see some pic's.
