Good post. Why buy a crappy rebuild instead of opting for an inexpensive reseal of the oem unit ? Parts changers, bah.
Anyhow, in my experiance with other brands of car this works out pretty well, change any & all o rings, green or red orings are probably made of higher quality 'viton' instead of neoprene. Bearing & seal supplier should be able to help with thiose. Take pains to keep the dirt out.
What's the experiance of those who have swapped to R134a, does it work as well, does the pag oil kill the compressor ?
