i have a 1990 acura legend. the engine (2.7L) is blown and i need to replace it but i'm wondering if the 3.2L engine of the 1991-1995 Legend can fit inside the hole without making huge component re-location. Can you help me sort this out please?

Well, pretty much anything is possible with enough time and money, but it would be one of the most ill-conceived engine swaps you could imagine. You'd have to do absolutely everything custom from the engine mounts to the electronics, and that's if you could even get it to fit in either orientation. Nothing will bolt up at all, the electrical is completely different, the drivetrain is completely different ...
The NSX swap would probably be easier than Type II swap, and if you've come across car2n's thread you'll realize pretty quickly that there is an indescribably huge amount of work involved in that NSX swap.

don't be so hard on 'em. i say go for it. i threw around the idea of a j-series v6 swap. do a quick search and check it out.

I'd contend a J-series in a G1 would be a much better swap idea than a C32A into a G1.
i'm only asking because some of my friends suggested to me to put a 3.2L engine in my car... but if you say that it's possible but not recommandable, i will probably fit another 2.7L engine in my Legend.
Your Car uses the C27A, you can use the C27a from the 95 to 97 Accords, which has a updated manifold on it, otherwise its the same motor. You should be able to pick up a C27a engine for $500 US that is a direct import from japan with 40 to 80K as they claim...

Check out ebay item 380165555826 ... a CA2.7 for $225 plus shipping ...and its already in Eastern Canada. I got mine from Tiger Japanese - Home a couple of years ago when they had a special on. Great deal ...and great engine.
