2 Good 2 be true
I was in the middle of posting my Head Gasket D.I.Y. and decided I'd take some time to install my Indiglo Gauges. Piece of cake right. No! The gauges are hot but my stupid temp and fuel gauge are 6 feet under. The temp stays at 0 and the fuel is at full all of the time. By the way I thought it was the gauges touching the needles so I reinstalled them with superglue making sure that they were not touching. Put them back in and still same thing. Now I've been reading a lot of the posts here regarding busted gauges and all I can see is replace cluster. Before I run out and buy another type II cluster, does anyone have any suggestions???
FYI . If the fuel gauge is at 0 upon startup it slowly but definitely surely goes to full..............
1. Double checked the connections, OK
2. Reinstalled the indiglo's, OK
3. Checked all fuses, OK
4. Drank some beer, yes.
