i have a chance to pic up a third legend coupe, its a 95 milano coupe, auto, like 78k, the guy wants $7500
the only thing holding me back is that i just bought a 1995 NSX, also red, 5 speed with 55k on the clock, so i'm not sure if a 7th car, 6th running one, is a good idea.
this coupe would make the total vehicle count 7...
1992 type2 coupe
1995 6spd coupe (no motor)
1988 monte carlo SS
1995 NSX
1986 monte SS (big block drag car)
2002 explorer limited (on 19's)
and possibly this 3rd coupe
Car 1: 1995 SE white/silver
Car 2: Flexdex Pro 36

Was this thread made to do a lil bragging? I think it was..
Why does one need so many cars? I would like to have 3 cars when I have the money....but I will stop at 3.
i actually have so many cars because i'm lonely.
last year my whole family died (father, mother, and sister), and our house, the 86 monte, and the 02 explorer were left to me.
when i got my parents life ins., i paid off my house, and started buying cars to try and take my mind off this stuff, i really miss them, u know?
the nsx is nice, but i miss my family dude.
sorry to hear about ur family. but if i was you. ill finish up the second coupe you have. fingure out how to swap a nsx engine in the bay. since it looks like money ain't a thang. i say you do your second coupe a drag car.
I think if I were in your position I would pass on this one. If you are only buying cars for the reasons you say you are (By the way, sorry about your family) then it doesn't seem like a good idea at all. I would complete your 6-Speed Coupe and get that one up and running.
thats pretty sad, sorry to hear about it. my advice is to sell the 92 coupe and finish the 6spd. pass on this 3rd coupe. i wouldn't want to have 3 of the same car. besides, if i had an nsx that would probably be the only car i would drive most of the time.
I say sell anything with the index of 1980 anything....LOL
I had a guy that I knew that he lost his whole family as well and did the same thing. He went out and bought everything that moved or was not nailed down. This went on for about 5 years, then one day the IRS came and he had not been paying all his taxes on the stuff he bought and buy the time they were done, he was left with the clothes on his back. I have seen this happen more times than I can count.
Toys will not make any feelings go away. They only make you spend the money that you need to keep for the rest of your life. The only thing that will help is "TIME"
So sell what you dont realy need and talk to friends and others about your family and save your money and enjoy life and not toys with no one to share them with.

I'm sorry to hear about your family. When i first starting reading, i was ready to say, go for the 3rd coupe, but now i think you're better off sticking with the two you have and finishing up the 6speed, maybe I am saying this because its an auto [i'm refering to the 3rd coupe]. But anyway, cars aren't the best investment, as sad as it makes me to admit to that, even if money isnt an issue. Start having some fun with the Legends you have and the NSX, do some mods that you enjoy, etc. If you ever wanna come chill & meet up with us Jerzey Legend folk, come down, we're not that far away [well, depending where in LI you are :p] See you around.

i'll put together a gallery later today of all the cars i have...
thanks for your support guys.
i think i'm gonna pass on the 3rd legend (never thought i would say that)
i wanna enjoy my nsx alittle, i've put 5 miles on it since i got it 'cause weather has been ****ty.
raky- i would never sell my 92, i love that car to death, i've had that since my senior year of high school, and there's like 12 grand put into it, so i could never sell.
the day i can park it, get out and walk away from it without turning back to look at it is the day that i sell it.
the red 95 6spd is too far gone to finish, it has no motor, its missing tons of little parts that i took for the 92, and just about 1 1/2 months ago, someone stole 3 of the 16" 'gs' rims from it, and left it on milk crates.

Hey dude, sorry to hear about your family.
My uncle died and he left behind his song and his wife, and he was the main source of income for them. My cousin lives real close to you, on Howard Beach in New York.
I'd say pass on the 3rd coupe and just be patient w/ the parts for the 95 6speed. 6speeds are so rare, it'd be worth it. you can find a typeII engine on ebay and maybe someone to install it for you with no problem.
