If you want to paint them (and i'll agree it does look fairly good with IM and valve covers done the same) maybe go with a darker yellow with a little more orange in it?
+1

Paint the valve covers and intake manifold black; it will match the theme you have going (IE: Your painted chrome trim). Ofcourse, hyper black would also look good in a black car's engine bay.

I just like how yellow stands out on black. My other choices are all black or black covers/stock manifold.

I dont really want the yellow anymore. It doesn't match anything on the car, I dont really want a bright engine, and it does look kinda ricey.

i think if you want some color then red might be a good choice, otherwise I would go black

I decided not to go with yellow. Right now my choices are:

All stock
All black
Black valve covers/stock manifold
Gunmetal (maybe, but nothing else on my car is gunmetal)

I dont want anything bright, mostly neutral colors. If I go with black, should I do glossy or matte?

Can someone photoshop the ones listed above?

Nah, dont like red engine bays.
What about all black valve covers and IM with some black and silver or gray highlights on the fuel rail covers? Not bright, and would be different but still matching the rest of the stuff in the engine bay.

Go with all glossy black; I know someone here had photos of a glossy black intake manifold and it looked very good. Besides, if you don't keep it clean it will turn matte black all on its own

You're the paint expert, will NBP stand up to the hight temperature? If so, matching it with the car should look good, along with the added blue sparkle.

I don't like the black the way you photoshopped it, your engine might get lost in its own shadows.

I don't like the yellow cuz its ricey, and as you said doesn't match anything, but I think the not-matching thing is okay, a custom paint job is kinda supposed to pop.

I like the idea of what Socol is suggesting I think. I picture in my head a glossy black with blue metal flake. That would look so bad-ass it might be illegal.

The yellow still holds up after 2 years.
