Sammy D. that's who . I am now the proud owner of a Black on Black 1994 Acura Legend GS 6-speed!
Here's my story: After totaling my last Legend, I went and bought a 1995 BMW 318i. It was nice, black on black, 5-speed manual, great condition. But, it wasn't doing it for me like the Legend was. It's like the saying goes, "You don't know what you have, until you lose it." So, I figured I'd drive the beemer around while looking for a 6-speed Legend. Well, it didn't take long, because I found this 6-speed for sale at cars.com which was also posted by Dave C. in the For Sale forums. The only problem was that I live in New England and the Legend was in Maryland. So, the great guy that he is, Dave C. went out and checked the car out for me from top to bottom and came back to me with a positive report. Next thing I know, I purchased 2 one-way plane tickets to Maryland (my girlfriend and I) to buy the Legend and drive it back home. It took a little over 8 hours to get back home, but it was worth it. So, I'd like to welcome myself back into the Legend family, and am looking forward to the good things that come.
Once again, special thanks goes out to Dave C. for helping me out with this, I couldn't have done it without you.
Wow. Excellent buy! Just wondering: how many miles and how much did ya pay? I looked EVERYWHERE for a black/black 6-speed with low miles for any DECENT price, and was even willing to fly to the east coast from Washington state to get one! Ended up going to Texas for a black/black auto with only 60k and spotless, but I want a 6-speed!
Congrats, Sammy! I'm 6'1" and I've got to admit that I like the superior headroom of the sedan over the coupe so don't have regrets over that. Yeah, that DaveC is all over the car sites - he found the car I ended up buying about 6 hours after I did.

Thai.95LCoupe, thanks. Just a couple of months ago there was a '95 Black/ Black 6 speed coupe for sale at a small dealership near my house. I totaled my Legend like 3 weeks later, but the Legend was sold already. It had 82K miles on it and it was in showroom condition selling for $13,500. It would've been nice to have a coupe, but I do prefer the sedan.
Scott, thanks bud! I have to agree, Dave C. is a true Legend enthusiast!
katonk, your eyes are just fine, hehe. That is a coupe spoiler on my GS sedan.
Sammy, now I will reverse the question that you always ask me "Can I drive your car?" hauhauhahuha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, nice move my friend. Now we can pimp together again. Like we always did! hauhuua!!!!!!!!!!!!!, have a safe trip to Maryland, and the drive back to Cranston, RI. Maybe you want to stop by to my place first, and show off? hauhauua!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Sammy, congratulations on your new purchase and welcome back to the family even though you never left us. When you get the chance, try to take more pics and especially of that spoiler cause I wanna see how it looks on your car. I must say that Dave is the greatest when it comes down to finding Legends and hopefully when im in search of my coupe one day, he'll be able to help me out too.
