EBC Greenstuff pads from tirerack.com
WHY? because they look cool (green) , they bite hard, fade less, make no noise, and best of all very little brake dust on my chrome rims

Yup, Yup and Yup. (except I don't have chrome rims and whatever rims I have would have no chance of brake dust buildup because I wash a lot-hehe)

How long do these last? I use the OEM brake pads which work just fine, but they leave a lot of brake dust on my chrome rims. I have to clean them every other day.

I've had mine on almost 1 year. It'll be one year in Jan. But as you know I don't put a ton of miles on my Legend. I make a lot of short trips every day.

Same as what the other EBC Green Stuff owners mentioned. My experience is with those pads on both my 95 with stock rotors and my 93 with x-drilled/slotted rotors. Both of them had near equal cold braking as OEM, but had slightly more grip or bite when warmed up. Both did not squeek at all. Both had very little dust, although it had more with the x-drilled/slotted rotors, but still 10X less than OEM pads. I used them on my 95 for about 15K miles before I sold them to my brother. He should have put at least another 20-30K miles on them but I do believe he needs to change them out now. I put about 10K miles on my 93 before I sold it to my sister, and she put on at least another 20K miles and is still using the same pads. I would bet it is about ready to change though. All in all they lasted at least 30K miles on each car.

I agree with Chris, I've had my pads for about 15k miles and I recently checked the status of the pads and they still have 50% left on them. I don't foresee changing them for another 15k miles at least and plus I don't brake very hard.

Awesome pads, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Pads

I have Brembo D/S rotors and Lonardo (spelling???) Kevlar Metalic pads, I went with these pads as apposed to the Metal Matrix because I hed those on my BMW with D/S rotors and they really wear down the rotors a lot faster. So I would suggest going with the Kevlar Metalics, They stop just as hard if not better then Metal Matrix and have low dust. I bought the rotors and pads on eBay and I believe they still have them there, I also purchased Stainless Steel brake lines on eBay and I would suggest doing the same while you have it taken apart.

I bought mine from tirerack also. Very nice people to deal with. I made a mistake when entering my credit card info and was able to talk to someone on the phone on a Saturday morning-very cool.
