Opinion on ebay IM gasket sets?

I would ask this in my work log thread but no one seems to answer any questions in it and this is something I need advice on asap.

I've pulled the intake manifold and EGR for cleaning and just about every gasket has ripped in the process (not my fault, age has just made them refuse to let go and brittle)

If I remember correctly I've seen a fair amount of people say ebay gaskets are okay for most jobs -except- head gaskets, so I was considering buying an ebay kit for the various IM seals.

Is this a bad idea? Honestly I'm willing to re-do the job with OEM gaskets in the near future if this goes belly up, but if I can at least get a few months out of them I'll be happy (Money will be tight until after xmas)

so what say you fellow Legend owners, to ebay, or not to ebay?

Yes you can use those ebay gaskets for the intakes but not the head gaskets.

Don't let the project go belly up, use only OEM parts.
