 or :thumbsdow

91 Coupe, black. Blacked tails, black housing JDM's.

RedLegend92 02-25-08 01:43 PM

Personally I hate the 3 spoke wheels, you should get a 7 spoke black rim if you wanna smthing black..try ssr

mktng 02-25-08 01:50 PM

uhhh .. not made for our cars man. :P 3 spokes are for like little civics.. and still unless your cars exterior design matches the wheels.. it'll be really hard to roll around on those.. .. Racing Hart is good brand but still 3 spokes? kinda quarky..

The Crowing 02-25-08 01:55 PM

19" on a Civic? And I like 3-spokes. I'm trying to find some that aren't too ricy or too expensive. Lowenhart LSR's are nice, but 2k for rims? Aiee.

whitecruiser 02-25-08 02:20 PM

I think you'd be able to work those wheels but your ride must dropped to pull it off.

emaculate94GS 02-25-08 02:20 PM

Maybe they would look good if you had a bat mobile! Def not feeling these.

The Crowing 02-25-08 02:24 PM

What if the red lip was black or chrome?

acafool 02-25-08 02:56 PM

i'm not feeling those bro but if YOU like them get them roll out with them there's nothing wrong with being different.Don't blend in with the rest stand out alone.

hybirdgsrlegend 02-25-08 03:15 PM

ATLfoKuS 02-25-08 03:35 PM

Never have been. Thats why I have the spoiler I do on my car now. Everyone here said nah, but I liked it, so I went with it. Best visual mod yet, IMO. :p

Eh? Eh?

8" wheel with only a 38 offset? Got some fender flares?

whyteLegend 02-27-08 04:50 PM

The offset is too low for that width..

TheLegendOfSpeeD 02-27-08 05:37 PM

If you're going to go high end, you might as spend a little bit more and get the correct size and offset to your preference. Oh yeah, RacingHart is the real stuff, RH is the cheaper/lower division (some RHs are even made in China...). I like the three spoke, but if you want three spokes, why not go with the original company that made them? The Yokohama Super Advan Racing ver. 2:

I was also going to get these in blue, or the volk TE37 (mag blue of course), but I ended up getting the AME Circlar Spec-R's in Endless Blue. At the end of the day, it's your car, do as you wish :). I just rather have spend a little bit more and get the correct size/offset. :2cool:

The Crowing 02-27-08 05:51 PM

^Those are GORGEOUS! Where can I get them relatively affordably?

The Crowing 02-27-08 08:16 PM

As a side note, what is the stock offset for our cars?

55

7.5" = 45 or higher
8" = 50 or higher

The Crowing 02-27-08 10:18 PM

^Appreciated, thank you. What the downside to using a lower offset? And that avvie is worse than the damn hyena! >.<

LOL - every couple of days I google "bad pictures" and find a new avatar :D

The downside to a lower offset is the rims sticking outside of the top of the fenders. The offsets above that I listed are the generally agreed upon maximum's that you'd want to run on a Legend (maximum being the lowest number you'd want) so anything with a higher number should be fine.

Basically, how it breaks down is the Legend hub's are really far outside the centerline of the car, so we require a higher offset (spacing from the hub face to the centerline of the rim) in order to keep the rubber under the car and not beside it.

Here is a good article on tirerack.com about offset that helped me understand what the numbers mean.

The Crowing 02-28-08 12:16 AM

^Thanks! Maybe I will get some chrome flares, yo! (Kidding...)
