Temp gauge moving too much
I inherited my wifes 94LS a few months ago(she got a new van) and I noticed that the temp needle was moving slightly after it was warmed up. When I get on the freeway it will drop just a little. This morning it was 18 degrees and the needle was about 2 "marks" below normal when I got on the freeway and I could tell the heat wasn't quite as warm as it should be.
I ordered a themostat from Acura of Agusta this morning for $28 shipped to my door. What a deal. My Local Acura of Memphis gets $38 for it and I have to drive 30 miles to get it.
A properly functioning thermostat should hold the temp steady whatever the condition. If you notice this on your legend change the thermostat asap. It's not good for the engine temp to fluxuate and is also a good indication your thermost is going to completly fail in the near future.
