I was thinking about getting Yellow Lights instead of the high beam and have HIDs in place of the low beam. What do you guys think about it? What are the laws against it in GA?

I put yellow bulbs in the high beams of my sold 91 coupe. They look cool but you will find out very quickly that you can't just drive around with your highbeams on all the time. Do it if ya like just remember, just because there yellow doesen't mean you won't blind people.

Do it! 100% Legal in GA.

Buy some JDM headlights, add HID bulbs.. and that's what you will end up with - pretty much.
Exactly.

So you are saying JDM Headlights come standard with the fog lights in the middle?
Yes, and the JDM fogs have yellow diffusers in them.

no. they are speaking of the JDM one piece lights. the location of the high beam on the usdm light. is the location of the foglight on the JDM one piece.

you can also just locate a yellow bulb that will fit in place of the high beam. and if you plan to use it for actual fog purposes. make sure to aim those bastards down. otherwise that fog will turn into a yellow reflection.

Do NOT put yellow bulbs in your high beams and drive with them on.. It is dangerous and yes you will blind people. I'm also pretty sure a cop would pull you over for it.

Even if you aim them down, your low beams will then be pointed at the ground.

Bling .... you mock my car, again :wtf: ? :giggle:

Thats quite unique ! Looks good and super easy to do !
I had it on for two years and loved it. Its off now but now my turn signals are covered  I may put their smoked film on my headlights.

That Laminex film is great stuff. $30, no wiring or bulbs to buy and no JDM parts to buy. It really helps that our Canadian daytime running lights mean the high beams run at lower intensity all the time .... I also love daytime running lights ! Don't you wish you had daytime running lights ?

If you just want it for the effect, then you can install a Daytime Running Lights (DRL) module, which makes your high beams run at low voltage. Then its just a matter of screwing in yellow bulbs. However, the DRLs turn off when you switch to low beams so you will lose the yellow lights at night, unless you put on your high beams - which may make some people want to stab you for blinding them with your yellow high beams at night. But it will work beautifully during the day.

No they replaced the whole headlight assembly with a jdm one piece assembly. Take a look on ebay and you will see some jdm headlights. Ma

Many members here install these, but as stated earlier, they can be some work to install due to different wiring. There is a diy on here if you want to search it.

JDM 1 piece headlight has a block wall to seperate the lights between the high/low beams and the yellow fog light while the USDM headlight doesn't have that block wall that's why your highbeams shine light into your lowbeams.
