AC Milan sporting director Leonardo has insisted that LA Galaxy forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not be returning to the club.

2. Lille winger Pepe watched by City scouts

Manchester City had scouts watching Lille's Nicolas Pepe in action against Reims on Sunday as the winger netted a late equaliser from the penalty spot, reports InfoFoot.

The Ivorian star has been in fine form this season and has now scored 11 league goals in 2018-19.

Arsenal have also been linked with Pepe as a potential replacement for Danny Welbeck, who's in the final year of his contract.

5. Berbatov backs Lukaku amid United exit talk

Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku is worth 'more than just goals' according to former Red Devils forward Dimitar Berbatov.

Recent reports have suggested that Lukaku could be on his way out of Old Trafford in the near future after what has been a disappointing campaign so far.

Juventus have been touted as a potential destination for the Belgian, but Berbatov believes United must keep hold of their star striker:

"Why do people concentrate on this [goalscoring drought]?" Berbatov said.
"Strikers are more than just goals now. How is that going to help Lukaku when there are constantly people saying how long he didn't score a goal for."

6. Richarlison in for a rough ride on Vicarage Road return - Deeney

Watford captain Troy Deeney jokingly suggested former team-mate Richarlison can expect some rough treatment when he faces his old club for Everton on Monday.

Brazilian forward Richarlison impressed during his one season at Vicarage Road last term following a switch from Fluminense in August 2017.

It was seen as a real coup for the Hornets when they landed him, and his promising campaign saw Everton pay a figure reported to be in the region of 45 million ($57.4m) to sign the forward ahead of this season.

7. European giants monitor Brazilian starlets

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and PSG have all sent scouts to the Ipiranga U20 International Cup to watch a number of young players from Internacional and Gremio, report Gauchazh.
