Wow, its been a while since i've been on these forums. I used to spend so much time on here. I'd be down for doing little cottonwood or something close to SLC (nothing so Utah, i don't have much time) Whats the date for this meet? I'll be home from college (Notre Dame) oct 16-23 (-+ day on either end depending on flights). I can't believe there are all these SLC legends on here. I remember when it was just Branson (mastervtec) and I...wow

Anyways, I digress. Keep me updated. Tyson has my cell #

lol... Me, too. Remember last year's Labor Day drive up to Heber City? That was fun. Anyway, you all know I'm down for whatever. I've never heard of this Albion place. Southern Utah would be quite a trek, but one that I'm always willing to make. Remember that Cafe Rio is an option, too. ;)

Sorry, tyson. Didn't mean to leave you out....but before you got here it was just mastervtec and I. It wasn't long though, now it seems like there are a lot of SLC legends. Its sweet!

Man, I wished I would have paid more attention to this board when I first signed up. I wonder how many meets and cool things I've missed in the last 3 years.
yea, I missed the last one for that reason. Now I check the board more frequently.

Tons of cool stuff...haha jk. We didn't meet that much, but when we did it was awesome. I love just driving around with a bunch of other legend's. My favorite was Chi's car...does he still have it?

I got back in town a few days ago. Hopefully I can still go.

Yeah, I called up Chi the other day. He (just for reference) was here before any of us were :). He started parting it out with the anticipation that his cousin was going to buy it (sold the GS wheels already) but then the cousin ended up with a Lexus. Latest word is that Chi's brother might pick up the car. Whether or not the aftermarket stuff stays with the car is still in question. I told him I'd be interested in his headlights and possibly a couple other items... At any rate, I'm sure he'd join us for another meet in the meantime. It's gettin' chilly up here in Logan. We'd better pick a date soon! Fall colors are going to be great up here in a couple of weeks. Saturdays work best for me.

We have had some good times! It's been pretty much an "annual" event to have a meet at Sugarhouse Park in about May, and we cruise up to Park City afterward...

I think this thread died. Where is everyone?

I'm all about the fall colors. Take a look at the pics at:

http://www.ksl.com/?sid=112429&nid=149
Some pretty amazing shots there. I'm especially interested in picture #29. Does anybody know where the Nebo Loop is?

EDIT. I found it. Looks like a nice little (30-mile) drive, starting in Payson and ending up around Nephi. Anybody game?

Yea, this thread died when the site was shut down. I would assume Nebo loop is near Mount Nebo in Manti. My grandma grew up in Manti, so we go down there every labor day. I am STILL waiting on getting my car painted BTW.

When is the best time for eveyone to do a meet?

Sorry, I haven't had much free time. Midterms are coming up and life is getting more and more crazy. I'm keeping my eyes on the thread even if i don't post.

I'm ready to go any Saturday afternoon. Let me know.

PS - how do you get a pic at the bottom of your posts? I finally got some (Tyson has seen them) but don't know how to link them to my name.

PPS - Hey mondonalds. Kind of sucks how TCU beat both BYU and Utah. With the way BYU played though, I think the UofU BYU game is going to be sweet.

You need to add a picture in your signature. To add a picture, there should be a link on the tool bar that says "insert image" when you mouse over it. Click that and a prompt will open up. You need to paste the link to your image in this prompt. To get the link to your image, you need to have uploaded your images to a host site, such as imagestation.com. Right click on the image once it has been uploaded, and select properties. Then highlight the web address, and paste it into the insert image prompt. Its really not as complex as it may sound. Hit me up with an email if you have any more questions: mondonalds@gmail.com

Yes, too bad they broke the U's winning streak. I agree, the U -BYU game should be a good one.

Hey, Nebo is cool, but where I'm at in Salt Lake, that's about 190 miles round trip, and I'm willing and all, but my wallet hasn't adjusted to the gas prices yet. I'm still up for it though if everyone else is. And as far as when, I can do it almost whenever if I have notice, but Saturdays are probably the best for everyone, I'm guessing.

Mondonalds, that guy have any luck with your bumper?

Charlie, I have resized two of your pictures and uploaded them to my Photobucket account (it's free anyway). To use either one of them as your signature, just right click it, go to properties, and then copy the URL. Go to your "User CP" in the top left of the screen, then click "Edit Signature." Paste the picture URL into the box, but put the tags [ img ] and [ /img ] before and after the URL (without the extra spaces) and it should show up after you save it. Good luck! You're going to have everyone drooling over that beautiful RX-7!

As for meets, we need to get a date set ASAP or it's gonna be too crappy of weather to do it. Here's where I stand on the next couple of weekends.

This weekend (10/1): OCDetails show in SLC until 3:00, then headed to St. George for the weekend
10/8: School event in Park City in the morning, then mission reunion in Provo in the evening
10/15: Taking the GMAT until noon; free all afternoon after that
10/22: Open all day

Should we shoot for the 15th? Does anybody have conflicts with that, if we were to meet up in the afternoon like 2-3ish? Maybe hit up Cafe Rio, go for a drive someplace, snag some fall pics? It doesn't have to be Nebo because I know gas is pretty expensive these days -- $3.09/ premium at Chevron here in Logan. I still want to do Nebo, but I can do it on my own sometime.
