Welcome, you have a Legend?

Cricket isn't big in the US so I've never followed it.

I've never followed cricket. I've found that once I understand the rules of a particular sport that I previously thought of as boring, and I watch a few games/matches with that new perspective, I actually find the sport to be somewhat entertaining (example: golf and baseball).

Smile Not at all

its the most thrilling and exciting game ever. I never played it during my school or college. but once i started to play and understand i liked it more then football.

its very skillful and challanging. it takes few games to understand and then your owen your way. the new shorter format of the game is way better then the 5 days test match. thats the only glitch.

Old version: yes. More unsatisfying I think than boring though...if I go to a sporting event, I want to have a resolution and go away knowing who won or lost...not show up day after day, that to me is ridiculous.

New version: Might be OK and maybe I'll check out another game when I go back to the UK. I like football and baseball the best, but if I lived across the pond, my guess is that I'd probably end up enjoying it.

Interesting bump, lol.

But I had last posted that I hadn't followed much. But my best friends in high school were from India, so I watched some matches at his house. It's just hard to keep up with it in the US.

It's pretty cool if you know what's going on.

I guess it's all in how the respective culture views it...other places find baseball incredibly boring but we have die hards in the US (and other countries) that love it.

When compared to say, American football, there's not too much in the way of "action or strategy," but it's loved nonetheless (I like baseball )

So it's all in the eye of the beholder I suppose...

it's kind of like baseball but the matches last for 3 weeks and you break in the middle for sandwiches and a cup of tea
