I have 2 bent rims. One of them is unrepairable, something about the bend going all the way to the barrel of the wheel.
What should have cost me me $180 for 2 rim repairs, is going to cost closer to $850 for 2 new rims. I haven't taken the other one off yet, so I guess MAYBE it could be repaired, but it's bent in the same spot, so I'm not holding out hope.
Guess I know what my tax refund is going to this year. Add another $850 to my car maintenance too.

id say shop around some else will be able to fix it for less i bet!

The first set of 17 inch IS300 wheels I bought had 3 wheels bent this way. The shop called this type of damage a
" center bend " .... and they also told me they can't be repaired, and that only lip bends can be repaired.
Large wheels look great, but if it means driving on less than a 60 series tire the wheel will get bent evenmtually unless you are really lucky or drive on perfect roads.
is it for the lincoln or the lexus? find some lincoln rims in the yard.. maybe lexus in an auction or newer car parts yard. check out the lexus forums for used? that sux man, had two left rims on a gen2 eclipse run over a little bit of the median. lol both are holding air though. one barely. alloys, so they wanted like 130 or so to repair. i'd try and find a used, then the refund'll be more fun. heh
The bend doesn't look that bad to me, I'll take some pics tomorrow
P.S I don't have a Lexus the i35 is an Infiniti
