EV Conversions?

Anyone know of any good books or forums to recommend to learn about EV conversions?

Thanks. Yeah there is a guy selling DA tegs with EV conversions on ebay, ive got this stripped CRX HX sitting here weighing 1200lbs, and I thought Id at least toy around with the idea of an EV. Was actually hoping one of the guys who worked in the alternative energy field might know of a book or a forum with some good starting point info.

I used to build hybrid cars at U of Wisconsin back in my undergrad days and can you that to do EV conversion right is very expensive and even then the result is less than ideal...
The best you'll end up with is a glorified golf cart. Still have to wait a few years until fuel-cells come of age.

Yea i realize all this, but im an odd cat. Its the learning and experience I would gain from undertaking such a project, successful or not, that I desire.

(If it helps to explain, I have 9 cars and drive less than 5 miles a day They aren't nice cars but they didnt run when i got them and now they do.)
