I'm either the original owner or the 2nd owner depending on how you look at it for December. My parents bought it off the lot in '92 and I have every receipt filed and logged in an excel spreadsheet. For the coupe I'm the 3rd owner. I have no receipts prior to my owning it but I've repaired so many things full maintenance records would be irrelivant. I think another 6 months with the 2nd owner would have made this coupe a parts car.

Carfax reports me as the 2nd owner but my mother is really the 2nd and I'm the 3rd. The original owners were an elderly couple that pretty much drove it to the grocery store and back and only gave it up because the dealer managed to sell them on a brand new RL when the Legend was in for dealer service.
Only one accident that I'm aware of and it's not on the Carfax: I bumped my neighbor's car in my old parking lot.

GS - I'm at least the 3rd owner. I've tried tracking down the first based on his name written inside my owner's manual . The car lived in the Chicago area until it was sold at an auction in 8/01 and ended up in Salt Lake City. 2nd owner had it from 2001-2008 and I picked it up in 5/08 and moved it to Arizona.
Coupe - I'm technically the 3rd even though I've said all along I'm the 2nd. First owner had it from 9/94 through 9/02. 2nd owner from 9/02 through 3/03. Both females. I purchased it in 3/03. The car had lived in the San Francisco Bay area up until that time. I still keep in touch regularly with the original owner. She's in an '03 black/black BMW 530i Sport 5-speed now. I told her when she's ready to sell to call me .

i am the second owner of my coupe with no reported accidents. The previous owner was a old millionare that lived in greenwich Ct who decided to sell it for a IS350 which he had custom done and shipped from cali.
On a another note carfax is not always accurate. It was reported that cars were being sold at auctions stating that the car was in a major accident and repairs were made but carfax would say no accident. another service like carfax was the only one stating that the car was in an accident.
Second owner... First was a woman who got the car as a high school graduation present (must be nice!!!). No accidents reported on the Carfax, but she did have a very minor front end ding that creased the front bumper cover a little.

ill count both of mine, since they're one now.
the 90 i was the 5th owner. it came from pearland, TX, went to Houston, TX in 1995 with 78k then in 97, it moved to Richmond, VA, then in 2001, it moved to St. Louis, MO where the odometer was reported to have rolled back to 0 at 100k (stupid people. . .)
in 2003 it moved to Rowland Heights, CA and in jan of 07 it moved to Riverside, bought by another college dude. then in april, i bought it.
as for the 87, its been in gabe's family since 1992
Never carfaxed mine, you're welcome to if you wanna. I'm the third owner. First had a ton of money, he did every recommended service, reupholstered it and had the alignment checked every 10-20K I believe. The second was my dad, who somewhat neglected it (4 years/20K miles without any fluid change except oil... no tuneups).
The first owner hit an object in the road before 40,000 miles, totally screwed up the back end, spent a bunch of money fixing it, and that's after insurance covered most of it. My stepmom got hit at a red light in a minor fender-bender that totaled the car (quarter panel had to be replaced and it was 16 years old). Since then, I've been rear-ended once and had the car fall off of a ramp while trying to get under it. The car was basically undamaged after both of those. The radiator seam opened up, and it leaked kinda badly for about a week, then sealed up again without any action on my part. Other than that, it got a 15mm bolt-shaped dimple in the rear bumper.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
