when the hell did all this come up? seriously, this forum is the best i have ever seen, such an amazing community of people. then all of a sudden its going to shit because somebody decided you have to pay to sell more than one item... what kinda shit is that? i hate to see the forum go, but if it happens, atleast its for good reason... i guess...

When the forum was actually owned by people who cared, you didnt have to pay to do this, and autoforums should not be making bank off it either. We didnt ask for nadeem to buy us, sky ungraciously sold us away.

I for one ran a group buy on Acura-Legend.com Stickers a while back. I laid out over $200 to get the ball rolling, taking money recieved from the initial stickers then rolling it for more and in the end I think I made like $50 profit over the course of almost a year. I sold like 200 stickers in that year for $5 each. So just to cover the cost of the vendor program I would have had to charge a minimum of $10 each and PRAY that I sold enough to cover my initial investment of over $1200. No Effing way!!!! I was not in the business of making a profit. I did it purely because there was a need that i could fill.
Having said that, will these new rules KILL the site...I dont think so. But it will never be what is now and never will be this big and great again. We make and sell and buy from each other because we are all we have. There is NO aftermarket to speak of. This is not a "Tuner" site like so many of AF's other forums. This is an enthusiasts site for vehicles that are no longer produced. If this gets enforced big time I think we all need to start moving to the other site that was mentioned as a show of will and let AF have whatever shriveled shell of a forum is left.
