That's not too bad for New York. Just saw the high dollar Shell gas for $ 2.09 here in southern Indiana.

When I bought the Hemi......gas was a little over $ 3.70. I'm bowing to the Hemi gods that it's gone down so much. The Aspen SUCKS gas!!!! But I drive about 5K miles year, so it wasn't a biggie.

I can't imagine how they get over 24 mpg hwy out of the 6.1L Hemi in the Challenger. I think it's just a few mpg than the six banger.

It feels like the North pole here.....geesh! I'm freezing!!!!!!

I hope premium falls down back below 2...that will be so beneficial...

I remember when i thought 1.75 for premium was good...

Oh well, I paid 2.23 on Thursday of last week. It hasn't changed since so meh...Regular was 1.93 in some places, 1.99 in most.

Don't believe them. That is probably in a laboratory test environment simulated at highway speeds, with no wind, etc. Those damn door stickers suck. Make you feel good buying it, until you pull into the gas station the first time.

I thought the new Hemi engines were variable displacement, which should make 24 mpg not that hard to get if you never punch the gas

That's one of the reasons I got rid of my Toyota Sienna. It never came close to the sticker mpg. Drove it to St. Louis one time....flatest interstate EVER and it got 16 mpg. No A/C.....kept it around 67 mph (terrible strip on interstate to speed).

As soon as the lease was up....turned it faster than squat. Hated that van! Should have bought the Honda and probably would have kept it.

They are. Mine is too. Still waiting for the break in period to be over and crossing my fingers the mpg improves.

I'm thinking about installing the Mopar cold air intake. I've heard it helps on the mpg and the horsepower. Any input on the subject??? I'm sure it would be the same on other types of cars if it does work.
