$0.779 per litre Canadian (price of regular gas). That equals $2.38 US/ us gallon.

LOL this reminds me. I read a satire "news" article about the price of gas in the US hitting $8 a gallon, and there being riots as a result.

The person who wrote this article had someone who believed the article who was from, Belgium I think. Anyway, he writes to the satire author, "Hey, I can't understand what the Americans are whining about. I did the math, and after currency conversions and liters>gallons, Gas over here comes out to costing about $11 a gallon. You Americans need to grow up and learn to deal with life. And you wonder why the world hates you."

The satire writer responds: "Yeah, but when you can walk from one end of your country to the other in about 30 minutes, gas isn't that big of a deal anymore..."

After I read that, I couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes.
