Dude, I've never taken this exam, but know a couple people who have...They say it's not hard, and the exam and material are straight-forward. Plus, having just went through a home purchase in the last 16 months, and having dealt with a lot of realtors (how do I put this politely), you apparently don't have to be very smart to pass this exam.

Maybe that's the case in Northern Virginia.

The test is actually not so straight forward, they try to trick you on a lot of the questions.

Best of luck.

Oh...and you are getting into the family "biz" of reality or realty?

Smile Hi Andrew

Sorry about getting off topic my friend

Andrew, I just saw your thread and I'd like to know: Do you come to the motorshow in Essen, Germany (EMS) on 11/26/05? Kevin told me he called to you about our meeting. Is this right? He said something about "Andrew". Are you that? See Kevins Forum It's one of our last posts. Please tell me if this is true. Can't believe that. If that is true we should talk about about the way you have to drive. Be sure: It's a long way to drive to the destination. But I can help you and to help you to get things better for you. And if you want we can meet us so then we can drive together. That sounds even better for me - presupposed you agree of course Please get back to me if you want, ok ? -Mike

Once again: Sorry for jacking your nice thread here

I have my realtor license and the test is not incredibly hard but its def not a breeze. Trust me you will be taking the test again unless you seriously put some time into studying for it.

I've heard its different by the state thats administering the exam. In Florida in know it is pretty tough. Once you get licensed, each year you have to get so many hours of CE (continuing education) classes to renew the license. You can make some $$$ if you are good. Try Google and see if it give you any hints.

Which leads to a good question: What state are you going to get the license in?
