Who likes bass?

Pendulum's new album (In Silico) is out

For those of you not acquainted, Pendulum is technically a drum and bass band but they basically mix it with different genres and make the dnb genre more friendly to the general public. In Silico is the most recent album and it mainly mixes rock with drum n bass, I have a pretty ample stereo and I frequently have to turn the bass down to keep my woofers from clipping. There is STUPID bass in every track and these are primarily high energy new-age, melodic songs.

Anyway I think it's retarded good and I can't stop listening but musical tastes differ. I urge anyone and everyone to give them a listen (or two, because it tends to grow on you).

Hmm it seems to hold a lot more Rock/Pop than my usual drum&bass fare. I'm a fan of the smoother jazzier side of D&B but this is decent.

100...

Some of the best i remember hearing coming from the Ridge Racer soundtracks. However, there's many more out there.

That's good for rock DnB though. Nice twist on the genre.

Like I said, high energy.

I'm also a fan of Dillinja etc... for some reason I think this album is genius though, a lot of people don't share my sentiments, saying it's disorganized, repetitive, sounding like a group of college students who got their hands on FL studio, etc, and I guess I see where they're coming from, but to me it just works.

A lot of my buddies like it though, so...
