Yea, I think you maybe right on that. Sorry to anyone I offended. I just jumped to conclusions when seeing a member saying he wasn't coming back.(im bad about that sometimes) No hard feelings Bang&Olufsen.

i just did a search on his previous posts. It's interesting.

I wonder how much experience he's had with G2 Legends. These cars can run like a carl lewis even with a cracked block and runnin on 2 cylinders (over statement, but you know what i mean) there can be alot of stuff in the car that can be wrong that a simple trip wont give you. it's interesting none the less.

Hope he's able to bring that one back to life.

EDIT:

wow, you see how he got all up on Untold Legend...that was uncalled for, yea his attitude is totally off.

Its not about what it looks like or what you pay for it, its what your dreams are and what your going to do with it. Bang&Olufsen says he paid $1500 for his legend. You want a cookie now? You obviously got a good deal on a nice looking legend. If I said your legend is a piece of shit and the carpet has a stain on it, you obviously got ripped, would that encourage you about it? Would you like to stay to hear more from your fellow Legend owners? Remember, lots of people's legends were pretty shitty when they first got them and look at them now. Lee told me before that I think its Mike Diaz(?) legend was in really bad shape when he found her. Everyone would dream to own her now. Lets help him out and get it looking good again.
Thank you for saying it. My legend was a junker when I got it. It didn't even run! The paint was seriously sun faded. The dash was covered in 1" of dust and the seats were all torn up. Not to mention the rust problem that it still has, but that is going to require at least $1500 in body work.

Before:

After:

And here is the rust issue and body damage that needs to be repaired:

^^^^ My little 15yr old brother did the damage, the rust was already there!

Damn dude. You've put some serious work into that thing. I love to see that. It makes you bond with the Legend more too. Have you done anything to the interior yet?

Hell no, Power steering is completely gone! Why do I need something dragging 5-10hp off the engine. Where I live you don't even need the power steering. I eve drove the car in Boston without it and did fine!

Took many hours of wet sanding and buffing. I found a pic of what it looked like right before my bro tore up the right side and before tint!

I'm not going to leave and my attitude comes from those that have given me attitude who seriously act as if they "Know it all" and nobody else knows anything.

I will post some pictures of the engine compartment later. Full compression check was done. 2 Recalls are being corrected later this week along with the AC issue (which was simply 1 line and 5 O-Rings.). The recalls include the Throttle Body and Factory Amp.

Well I wish you good luck. Bring that Legend back to its glory.

Post pics when your project is complete.

Less on fire than with leather.
